Neither bar end preparation to form threads, nor bar rotating is required. MBT couplers can also be used to join imperial, plain round, or deformed reinforcing bars.
Lapping is not appropriate for connecting the TMT bar. Lapping can consume more time in installation & also cause greater congestion in concrete because a large amount of TMT bar is used.
